November 18, 2025 . 새삶교회 As We Conclude the Year 2025

본문

As we approach Thanksgiving Sunday, I feel that it is time to look back on the year and take stock of what has passed.

I wonder if it’s just me, but the years seem to be flying by faster and faster as time goes on.

Last September, as we celebrated the 18th anniversary of Sae-Samm Church, looking at the photo records from that time brought a smile to my face. I was happy to see the genuinely fresh faces of my spouse and myself, and I smiled again as I observed our older selves in the midst of the flowing time.

We may not be able to remember or record all the abundant grace God has bestowed upon us over the past 18 years, but how could we ever forget the gratitude that every single thing was indeed grace? It was certain that all moments of our lives have worked together for good.

Just as God faithfully led us in ministry throughout those 18 years, this past year has been the same. As we shared our lives in prayer with all the saints and the brethren scattered in various regions—the tears, the joy, the patience, and the suffering we shared—I confess that all of it has become the beautiful fruit of thanksgiving, and for this, I give thanks to God.

As we conclude the year 2025, we offer thanks and glory to God who has poured out His grace upon all of us. As we prayerfully prepare for the coming new year, we eagerly anticipate the new things God will accomplish.

Thank you, God.
